Professionals of driving power supply manufacturers and related product group companies have insufficient understanding of power supplies. The switching power supplies they manufacture can still work normally, but some critical evaluations and electromagnetic compatibility tests are not sufficiently considered, or there are certain safety hazards; the vast majority of driving power supply manufacturers transform and develop ordinary switching power supply circuits to make LED power supplies, and do not have enough understanding of the characteristics and applications of LEDs.

At present, there is basically no specification about LED. Most of them refer to the specifications of switching power supply circuit and electronic ballast. Now most LED power supplies are not unified, so most of them are relatively small, with small purchase volume and high price, and electronic equipment dealers are not cooperative.

Master the basic concepts of matching LED driver power supply: 1. Only by knowing the rated current of the LED lamp bead can the model specification of the LED controller be established; 2. Because the LED is not driven by a DC power supply, but a constant current power supply, 3. The total current and the total working standard voltage to be increased should be established according to the rated current of the single-bead LED, the number of LEDs and the interface standard of the LED (series and series connection) in order to select the switching power supply circuit of the service facility.

 

Some LED lamp manufacturers tend to outsource the switching power supply, and may purchase it. Lighting designers don’t know much about the switching power supply, so the LED heat dissipation space is large, while the driver power supply of the driver power supply manufacturer has a small heat dissipation space for the switching power supply. Generally, it is necessary to outline the lighting fixtures first, and then find a suitable switching power supply for the supporting facilities. This creates an inevitable difficulty for the supporting facilities of the switching power supply. Often, due to the small space of the lighting fixtures, the internal temperature may be high, and the cost control is low, it is impossible to match the appropriate switching power supply.

 

Some LED driver power supply manufacturers have the research and development capabilities of switching power supplies. The above difficulties can be solved by annotating the outline of the lamp in the early stage and smoothly drawing the outline of the switching power supply. When sketching, the heat dissipation of the LED and the switching power supply should be sorted out and considered. All staff should control the heating of the lighting lamp to sketch a good lighting lamp.
