Q

What are the most common causes of LED drivers damage?

A

Common Risk Factors Include: Excessive Ambient Temperature,Grid Voltage Abnormalities,Lightning Surges,Prolonged Water Immersion, etc.

Q

The product comes with a 5-year warranty, but how many hours per day can it safely operate?

A

The normal working hours for indoor products are 8-10 hours, and for outdoor products 24 hours.

Q

Why Does Irregular Flickering Occur During LED driver Aging/Operation?

A

The light remains on but exhibits irregular flickering. First, identify which specific product model the customer is using (there's a high probability it's a non-certified product). Then, check whether there are any large electrical equipment or signal towers nearby that could be causing interference. We recommend the customer switch to a certified product series.

Q

Why Does the LED Drivers Start Causing LED Flickering After Prolonged Use?

A

This is an overvoltage protection (OVP) trigger phenomenon. The LED board's operating voltage is approaching or exceeding the power supply's maximum rated output voltage. A more suitable driver with higher voltage tolerance must be selected for proper compatibility.

Q

Why Must Faulty LED Drivers Be Tested Before Replacements?

A

For sporadic defective cases, clients may opt to purchase replacement LED Drivers first, with the faulty units processed as returns afterward. Under special circumstances, sales teams may submit requests for advance replenishment (ship first, return later).

Q

Are All Done's Products Covered by 3-Year or 5-Year Warranties? Why Can't Faulty LED Drivers Be Replaced Immediately?

A

The warranty periods for different LED Drivers series vary between two, three, and five years. A technical inspection is required to determine the root cause of any issue. Under special circumstances, sales teams may submit a request for advance replacement (replenishment first, followed by return processing).

Q

What Causes LED Flickering in LED Driver Operation?

A

On-site electromagnetic interference may cause sporadic light flickering. For environments with significant interference, we recommend using a two-stage flicker-free LED Driver.

Q

If the SEF series non-isolated LED driver fails, will the light board burn out?

A

Damage to the non-isolated LED driver will generally not burn the lamp bead board. Only when the positive and negative poles are broken down to form a circuit will the lamp bead board be damaged.

Q

How Exactly Are Power Grid Instability, Overvoltage, and Undervoltage Described?

A

Under abnormal grid conditions—such as phase imbalance, proximity to high-power machinery, or poor line connections—voltage may surge or sag beyond the led driver's specified input range, resulting in permanent damage.

Q

How are product defect rate control standards set?

A

After-sales failure rate ≦5‰
